Electrotherapy Introduction - 9th Generation Technology
The previous generation’s electrotherapy devices have set the
standards for patient safety and comfort worldwide. Once again, the
ninth and newest generation of devices has improved this standard.
Ergonomics
The ergonomics begin with the housing: the outer
housing is made of powder-coated metal which is dust-proof and
splash-proof, and makes the unit very sturdy. The keyboard makes
operation simple, and the unit can be operated easily either while
standing or while seated.
Integrated Vacuum Unit
| The units can be equipped with an optional
integrated vacuum unit for vacuum therapy. Vibration-free and
extremely quiet, the device makes use of the Venturi, or
injection, principle. As it cannot aspirate any water or dirt, the
device is maintenance-free, and hygienic treatment can be provided
to patients using disposable paper discs which cost only pennies
for each application. |

Accessories
Our devices have always been fitted with an extensive selection of
high-quality accessories. Accessories from previous models can still
be used with the new generation of devices. Devices with an ultrasonic
therapy unit have been fitted with an additional port, allowing the
transducer to remain in the medical device during electrotherapy.
Easy to Service
The newest units are easy to use and have a modular and sturdy, yet
simple, mechanical construction. When the unit is turned on, it
undergoes a complete self-check procedure. For maintenance purposes,
each device has a service menu which allows maintenance personnel to
perform a simple and quick error analysis without additional
equipment. This guarantees high reliability and low failure rate.
STEREODYNATOR 928
The comfortable therapeutic medical device
with three-dimensional interference current. The
STEREODYNATOR 928 holds an
additional top-ranking position in the field of electrical therapy.
Its range of use predestinated this medical device for use in
physiotherapeutic departments of clinics as well as in modern
well-equipped private practices. A stereodynamic interference
current is generated through the superposition of three
middle-frequency currents flowing in different directions. The
stimulating lower frequencies are already generated through
interference of two phase shifted circuits in the area being
stimulated. The additional third electrical circuit generates, as
opposed to classical interference methods, on one side of a slower
change in intensity and on the other side a rhythmic shifting of the
interference field. These dynamics of the area being stimulated and
the intensity decrease the habituation effect and therefore improve
the therapeutic effect. The STEREODYNATOR 928 uses this

Automated programs improve the handling. The STEREODYNATOR 928 is
equipped with several programs which automatically adjust the
treatment frequency and the treatment time. Treatment frequencies,
particularly for sedation, myokinetics, and vegetative stimulation,
are available. The stimulating effect can alternatively be
administered endogenously or exogenously. During endogenous
application, the interference is generated through
superposition of the electrical circuits in the body. This
allows an intense effect. During exogenous application, the
interference is created in the medical device. The stimulating
effect takes place directly underneath the electrodes on the
body surface. In addition to three-circuit interference
current, STEREODYNATOR 928 offers a complete selection of
single circuit currents for all known therapeutic procedures.

Ergonomic Control Panel
 Function
keys are colored black and
modification keys white. Keys for the
same function are located in the same
position on all devices. They are easy
to recognize - which is particularly
importatn for the visually handicapped
- and also have a pressure point. The
parameter settings can be carried out
either with the keys or the adjustment
knob. The intensity control
automatically reverts to "0" after the
expiration of the therapy time.
Display
All devices are equipped with a
high-resolution graphic display. The
selected stimulating current type is
shown graphically. All important
parameters are also shown.
Modifications are performed using the
white modification keys located around
the display or the modification knob.
LED Keys
Optical user support is furnished in
the form of LED lights incorporated
into the keys: blinking = key was
selected and remains active
constantly lit = key is active
not lit = key is not active
Menu
In addition to "One-Touch" operation,
a user-guided method for selection can
also be chosen by way of the menu. By
selecting the desired effect
(analgesia, hyperemia, muscle toning,
muscle detoning) and the site of
action (head and neck, spinal column
and trunk, upper extremities, lower
extremities), the appropriate
stimulation current is automatically
selected and a recommendation for the
electrode application is provided. The
many also
allows the use of special types of
stimulation current (i.e. for the
treatment of incontinence).

same time the user interface is so clear, that it offers a
maximum level of usability: With one single touch the user can

turning the intensity regulator allows a real quickstart.
Additionally, the modern high-tech design with brushed aluminum
surface and the 15" TFT LC D full color touchscreen monitor
offers the doctor “that certain extra” to just having a
technically sophisticated electrotherapy unit. |

Complete range of functions
The Stereodynator® uses the unique threedimensional interferential
current generated by
three superimposed middle frequency signals. This highly effective
current is conveniently
applied with special easy to use applicators and the optional
Venturi vacuum suction massage module. The Stereodynator® can be
used as a device for electrotherapy, ultrasound
therapy and combination therapy. With its two independent channels,
it allows to treat
one patient with two different therapies or even two patients at the
same time.
